Me and my work
I am a PhD research student working on a Preterm birth prediction study
I am working on a very exciting and landmark project investigating the potential use of next generation molecular biological and imaging techniques to predict women at risk of premature birth so that we can prevent this condition and improve pregnancy outcomes.

What I'd do with the money
The prize money will help us procure more posters, tapes, dummies etc which are tools we use to inform and educate our patients and the public.
We discover that our patients and subjects as well as the general public find it much easier to understand and respond well to pictorial presentations of our activities. So we think this is an excellent opportunity to invest more in this area of our research.
