I liked the human biology classes that looked at how the heart and kidney works. I also liked the plant biology classes where we could look at the insides of plants through a microscope. And of course dissecting worms and fish was always a messy gory business and so a class favorite.

I must say I found learning about DNA and how it works really fascinating. It was a bit of a mystery to me before that point, and knowing how it functioned to make genes was a bit of an eye-opener. But in terms of experiments I really enjoyed chemistry, so maybe what I do today is a little bit of both of these merged together.

What I found most interesting in science at school was biology. I loved the fact that we had to study animals and plants. It made me appreciate nature and the need to know more about it.

I really liked when we were going to the lab in biology class to see some bacteria under the microscope, or work with plants. It was much funnier that staying in class.
