      I think that would be the Mariana Trench, near Japan. That is about 11km (or 9 miles) deep.

      Yes Chris is spot on there – the Mariana Trench between Japan and Papua New Guinea is just under 11km deep and about 25550 km long.

      Chris and Michelle are on point. It is called Challenger deep, it could contain mount everest, the highest moutain on earth
