I graduated from University 10 years ago, then I spent a year out in the field doing small field projects and helping other scientists collect their data. After that I spent 4 years doing the research for my PhD and I have been working as a fully fledged scientist since 2008, so almost 5 years now.

I graduated about 5 years ago, and then left for teacher training. I taught for a few years then went back to university to do my PhD. I guess I’m not a fully trained scientist, but I’ve been doing my PhD for 18 months now.

I’ve been doing my PhD for around 20 months, so I guess that’s the time I’ve been a scientist for. I’m fairly new in this!

After graduation, I did a masters for 2 years during which time I did some research on thirst perception. After that I start my PhD. So I think I have been involved in science for about 3 years.
