National Geographic always has beautiful photographs of some of the most remote and interesting places on the planet. If it weren’t for this magazine I would never have known that the world’s highest waterfall was Angel Falls in Venezuela or that the world’s deepest underwater canyon was in the Pacific Ocean or that ancient tombs in Egypt contained old mummies from thousands of years ago. This has inspired me to travel and see natural habitats and species and try to understand how they all came to be the way they are.
