Question: What advice what you give a student who wanted to study medicine

You need to be very focused from an early age. It is incredibly difficult to get into medicine these days and you must get as much advice as possible. You need to have an excellent personal statement as when we are looking at applications, lots of students have good grades, but it is the other things which you have done which sets you apart. And remember, it’s not a job but a career and life choice. You need to be very dedicated to study medicine.
