Question: What was your insparation to research Diabeties?

I think I chose to work in diabetes because it is a growing problem, and as we may be heading for an epidemic in the next few years we must start to do something about it.

I have friends with diabetes who have been an inspiration too, perhaps because I feel that they deserve to have a healthy and fulfilling life like anybody else. Diabetes can happen to anyone and we still don’t know an awful lot about it, which is pretty scary i you ask me.
