• Question: why did you choose repreduction

      I was always interested in diabetes and this project came up which was also linked to reproduction, and I thought it sounded very interesting, so I applied. Saying that though, I have found working in reproductive health very rewarding, so it was a happy accident!

      I’m not really doing reproduction itself. I’m doing developmental biology that is the discipline of biology that studies how the fertilised embryo develops into an adult organism, and the genes that regulate this process.
